Tribute to Bob Huck
Honoring the Legacy of Robert J. Huck
With heavy hearts, we pay tribute to the remarkable life and legal career of Robert J. Huck, a founding member of Croker Huck Law Firm, colleague and dear friend.
Bob graduated from Creighton Law School in 1967 and practiced law in Omaha for over 50 years. He focused his legal career on commercial and residential real estate, land use and zoning, and dedicated countless hours to developing and assisting Sanitary and Improvement Districts in Nebraska.
Bob was highly regarded in the legal community. He was recognized by the Best Lawyers in America and Chambers USA for his work in real estate law. Bob’s dedication to real estate development in Omaha was publicly recognized in 2021 as he was inducted into the Commercial Real Estate Summit Hall of Fame.
Bob was a humble and genuine man who always had the best interests of his clients as a top priority in his legal practice. He practiced law with integrity and compassion and prided himself on providing quality service to his clients.
Bob Huck was also an avid wine connoisseur. He loved to share his wine and wine expertise with everyone, including at countless holiday parties, office gatherings and client meetings. Most importantly, he loved gathering people together and spending quality time with everyone around him.
Bob’s pride and joy was his family, including his loving wife Mary Ellan, six children and 21 grandchildren. He loved having family visit the office and beamed with pride telling stories about the adventures of his children and grandchildren.
Bob, you will be deeply missed and we are forever grateful for your impact and dedication to Croker Huck Law Firm. Your legacy will never be forgotten, and your memory will forever be etched in our hearts. Rest in peace and cheers.
